Good experience with this travel agent
We are a couple from Australia travelling in Iran for the first time. We booked a number of things through Markar Travel Agency including accommodation, transport (buses, private drivers and transfers) and tours and can say that everything was well organised and hassle-free. Raha from Markar Travel was incredibly helpful and responsive to our questions (including when we changed our plans beforehand) and he kept in constant contact when we were in Iran to make sure everything was ok. We were able to book and pay for everything from Australia which we liked and the prices were very reasonable to us.

Absolut zuverlässige und äußerst kompetente, junge Reiseagentur
Wir sind ein älteres Ehepaar (60+) aus Süddeutschland. Bei der Planung unserer vierwöchigen Iranreise stießen wir zufällig auf die junge Reiseagentur Markar Travel, was sich als absoluter Glücksgriff erweisen sollte. Alle Teile der Reise, die wir nicht selbst organisieren wollten bzw. nicht konnten, übernahm sehr zuverlässig dieses dreiköpfige Team. Sie buchten traditionelle, kleine Hotels mit wunderschönen, ruhigen Innenhöfen, kümmerten sich um Transfers mit professionellen Fahrern und Reiseführern ebenso wie um Bus- und Bahnfahrkarten. Unser Ansprechpartner Raha war fast zu jeder Tages- und Nachtzeit per whatsapp erreichbar. Wegen Überschwemmungen waren wir zu zwei Umplanungen gezwungen, die sowohl vom Fahrer vor Ort als auch von Raha aus der Zentrale schnell und unkompliziert vorgenommen wurden. Unsere Sonderwünsche abseits der gängigen Touristenpfade (Petroglyphen im Teymareh-Tal, mehrtägiger Aufenthalt in Mashad) wurden von ihnen bestens organisiert. Wir fühlten uns zu jeder Zeit sicher aufgehoben und begleitet. Wir würden jederzeit wieder sowohl für die Buchung von Einzelbausteinen als auch für die Durchführung einer gesamten Reise auf Markar Travel zurückgreifen. Hinzu kommt, dass das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut ist. Herzlichen Dank an das Team und vor allem an Raha für die stets freundliche und kompetente Begleitung während unserer Reise. Iran, il viaggio indimenticabile di 5 amiche: un tuffo nella millenaria storia persiana, un’inebriante esperienza sensoriale con affascinanti contrasti, persone gentili e ospitali in contrasto con l’immagine veicolata dai nostri media che dell’Iran trattano sempre questioni politiche e non della gente comune, delle tradizioni e della cultura del paese.
